Community participation in School Activities have been observed as the most significant element of the process achieved. This project achieved wonderful progress by involving the village communities of the school locations.
PTCC association Formed and Strengthened
Formed and strengthened the Parent, Teacher Community & Child Associations
The schools in collaboration with PTCC /SDS raised a significant amount of funds and applied in school development
School in collaboration with PTCC / SDS developed effective strategies for generating income
In some schools, the “Mid day meal” was exclusively provided with the help of parents/community of the school catchment areas
Newly formed “Old Students Association” contributed to develop the schools
Maintained Coordination with village societies & councils
School linked with local societies & Community Base Organizations and obtained in-kind contributions
Schools directly coordinated with the village councils on the matters raised on physically and sexually child abuse of Children and received best results
Utilized the CBOs/Village Societies in eliminating the child labour cases
School utilized the CBOs/Village Societies for influencing policy makers and government institutions and received respective services on time.
Village Community support in administration
School utilized the community on eliminating Child Abuse & Child Labor through establishing “Child Friendly Movements”
School organized “Parents Brigade” and received support for school management, protection & administration
Community helped schools to bring the village based technology to the schools
